I ALWAYS SAY 'THE WAY YOU TRAIN IS THE WAY YOU DEVELOP'
Good posture will also contribute to enhancing your balance. Balance is maintaining your posture and technique whilst moving. Those whom I train will be very familiar with me repeatedly saying 'shoulders back, chest out, head up' and 'neutral spine, engage your core!!' (and this is not even in Pilates class!) If I had a euro for every time I said this in a day, I'd be well off I can tell you! 🤑 Engaging the core and strengthening the mid section of the body ( the powerhouse as we call it in Pilates) creates a strong centre of gravity for our body.

Good balance is so important for everyone young and old, from your average Joe to the elitist athlete, all can enhance their quality of life and performance and reduce the risk of injury in sports or in everyday life and especially as we age.
I like to ensure my clients achieve better stability and posture through the use of strength training, body resistance exercise and Pilates. Better posture improves absolutely everything. 💪🏽💃🏻
